DOOM: Humanity’s War Against Hell

DOOM: The Dark Ages, released in 2025, renewed interest in the series. Players have watched an anonymous demon killer grow into a character with a history, a personality, and mythic stature. What began as a sci-fi massacre on Mars became an epic conflict between angels, demons, and ancient civilizations. This is the story of Doomguy, the Doom Slayer, and the events that connect the games.

Instruction

Chapter 1: The Origin of Doomguy — DOOM (1993)

In 2022, the Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC), a transnational military giant, experiments with teleportation on Mars and its moons, Phobos and Deimos. The tests go wrong: volunteers vanish or return insane, contact with Phobos is lost, and Deimos disappears from orbit.

Instruction

A squad of marines is sent to investigate. Among them is Doomguy, who was reassigned to Mars after refusing to fire on civilians. His unit is almost immediately wiped out on Phobos, leaving him alone with a pistol against Hell.

Instruction

A squad of marines is sent to investigate. Among them is Doomguy, who was reassigned to Mars after refusing to fire on civilians. His unit is almost immediately wiped out on Phobos, leaving him alone with a pistol against Hell.

He fights through demon-infested bases and possessed scientists, reaches a portal, and enters Hell. After defeating the Barons of Hell, he is ambushed and wakes on Deimos, now suspended above Hell itself. There he defeats the Cyberdemon and learns that the moon has become part of the infernal realm.

In the heart of Hell, Doomguy destroys the Spider Mastermind. He returns to Earth only to find that demons have invaded while he was away; even the head of his pet rabbit, Daisy, has been displayed on a pike. The war has only begun.

Chapter 2: DOOM II – Hell on Earth and Final Doom

After escaping from hell, Doomguy returns to Earth and sees it’s over. The planet is in ruins, the cities are destroyed, the demons kill everyone in their path. The survivors are hiding underground or in space stations. Civilization has collapsed. Only one man stands between humanity and the end of the world.

Instruction

In DOOM II: Hell on Earth Slayer is sent to the epicenters of the invasion. It makes its way through post-apocalyptic cities, military bases, sows destruction in hell and on Earth. On his way are new enemies: Revenants, Mancubus, Arch-vile, Hell Knights. The fight is getting even more fierce. Arsenal is replenished with a double-barreled shotgun - now a hallmark of the series.

The main goal is to destroy the Icon of Sin, the demonic titan behind the invasion. Doomguy reaches his lair, makes his way through his army and hits with a shot into an open skull box. The earth is saved. Temporarily.

Then comes Final DOOM, two unofficial but acclaimed id Software episodes: TNT: Evilution and The Plutonia Experiment. They continue and expand on the apocalyptic theme:

  • TNT: Evilution. UAC scientists are building a new base on Jupiter's moon. The gates to Hell are opened again. Doomguy, the only survivor at the base, enters the battle with a new wave of demons.
  • Plutonia Experiment. UAC creates a special “quantum seal” to close the portal to Hell. But one of the priests of hell destroys it and opens the gates again. Only Doomguy can stop him.

While these episodes are less closely related to the Doom storyline, they highlight a key message running through the series: Hell doesn't give up. He always returns, again and again, inventing new ways of destruction, new forms of terror, and new demons. It is an endless cycle of invasion, fear and war. But in each of these cycles, there is always one. One man, one soldier, one will that says no. One who stands between humanity and absolute evil. And that's enough to give hope.

Chapter 3: DOOM 64 – The Last Mission

After the events of Final DOOM, humanity temporarily wins. The gates are closed, the Earth is recovering. But Hell doesn't retreat. The demons are starting to recover. And then UAC makes a radical decision: send a nuclear-armed space fleet to burn out everything left in hell. The blow is successful, and almost all demons are destroyed.

Almost.

One of the oldest entities in hell, Mother Demon, also known as Resurrector, survived. She uses her powers to resurrect the fallen demons, launching a new wave of invasion. UAC sends an expedition to the ruins of hell, but communication is lost. Then they call him again.

Doomguy, now a veteran of all circles of hell, takes up arms and embarks on a final mission. He breaks through resurrected monsters, destroyed hellish citadels and darkness itself. DOOM 64 is not just a sequel, it is the finale of the classic era. He is alone, without allies, without support, without mercy.

In the end, he destroys Mother Demon. But instead of going back, he stays. He decides to stay in hell forever to prevent another invasion. His last line was, “I’ll stay here.” I'll be their fear."

It is a choice that makes him not just a human being. He becomes a symbol. The executioner. Doom Slayer. His human name is lost. There's only a legend left.

Alternative History: DOOM 3 (2004)

DOOM 3 is not a direct sequel to the original trilogy, but a complete reboot of the series. The game was released in 2004 and presented a darker, cinematic and story-packed interpretation of the conflict between humanity and Hell. Unlike the arcade dynamics of classic DOOMs, here the emphasis is on horror, tension and atmosphere.

Instruction

The action takes place in 2145 at the research base of the UAC Corporation on Mars. Scientists have discovered teleportation technology and are conducting experiments between Mars and its moons. However, they encounter ancient texts and artifacts indicating the presence of an "otherworldly dimension." Despite warnings, teleportation portals continue to be used, and one of them opens the way to Hell.

Instruction

The player assumes the role of a newly arrived Marine. He finds himself at the epicenter of a disaster when demons begin a massacre at the base. Unlike classic games, here the story is presented through interactive elements: audio diaries, video recordings, email employees. This creates the effect of presence and makes the tragedy of the staff tangible.

The key antagonist is Dr. Malcolm Bertruger, the project's scientific supervisor. In the course of the game, it is revealed that he came into contact with demonic forces and deliberately organized the opening of the portal. Later, he transforms himself into the monster Maledict, controlling the invasion from within.

During the campaign, the player explores destroyed laboratories, engineering bays, temples of ancient civilizations, and also gets into the dimension of Hell. Here hell is presented not only as a mythical place, but also as a biomechanical reality, distorted flesh and technology.

The game is characterized by a high level of detail, gloomy visual aesthetics and sound design, creating constant tension. Restricted lighting and the need to use a flashlight manually increase feelings of anxiety.

DOOM 3 concludes with a battle with Maledict. Despite the victory, the UAC base has been destroyed and the demon threat remains real. Later, the expansions Resurrection of Evil and Lost Mission are released, which deepen the plot and show the consequences of the invasion.

While DOOM 3’s storyline is not directly related to Slayer’s main line, it is important as a stand-alone view of the universe. It shows that no matter what version of the world, UAC always opens a door it shouldn’t open. And there's always one man with a gun ready to shut it down.

Chapter 4: The Birth of Doom Slayer – Argent D’Nur and the Night Sentinels

After being voluntarily imprisoned in hell, where Doomguy has vowed not to allow demons to return, the transformation of not only his body but also his destiny begins. Over time, beyond human comprehension, his obsession with destroying evil makes him more than just a human being. Destiny throws him into another dimension, a planet called Argent D’Nur, an ancient, semi-fantasy world where magic and metal merged into a single whole. These events are part of what would later be called the Dark Ages in the franchise’s mythology, a time when Slayer is reborn as a myth and civilizations are vying for their souls between Mykra technology and the curse of hell.

Instruction

Argent D’Nur is a civilization born out of chaos, when the Spear of Peace pierced the fabric of reality and released the Elementals of Rock. From their cries emerged the peoples of Argentina, hardened warriors who tamed giants and built cities of stone and steel. And among them was an order of elite defenders - the Night Sentinels.

They were the first to discover an unnamed alien who emerged from a demon portal. In their eyes, he was a savage, a barbarian, an unknown being who did not speak their language, but moved by his only instinct to destroy demons. He's thrown into battle in the arena - he survives. He's sent to die again - he wins. With each step, he earns their respect.

This attracts the attention of King Novik, who, despite his fear of a stranger, decides to give him a chance. Doomguy is enlisted in the Night Sentinels, Argentina's elite guard. He begins to pass tests, learns to own local weapons, learns tactics. With each fight, he becomes more and more part of a new world. He becomes part of the Sentinels, although he abandons their rituals. They call him the Executioner.

Soon the Unholy Crusade begins - hellish hordes invade Argent D'Noor. Doomguy, now a Sentinel Warrior, leads the battle on the front lines. He destroys demons with such speed and efficiency that the Mykras begin to see him as something more. Among the demons, a new fear is born – the Devourer, the Nameless, the Destroyer of Terror.

Over time, Slayer’s power becomes a legend. His enemies tremble, and his allies fear. He doesn't just fight, he erases armies. His rage is a storm that sweeps away everything in its path. He's invulnerable, tireless, ruthless. Argentines begin writing ballads about him, calling him "Alien who came in fire." The demons, in fear of him, leave behind warning letters. All these victories and countless feats of Slayer shape his image as a living legend – a myth that even those who serve Urdok fear. His presence becomes a symbol of inescapable punishment. It is this reputation, this growing independence and power that begin to unsettle the supremacy of the Mykras, laying the groundwork for future betrayal.

In the midst of a bloody war with demons, Seraphim Samur, an angel-like Maikr, appears, overseeing the conflict on behalf of Urdak. He sees Slayer as more than just a warrior, as a potential weapon to balance the worlds. Despite the prohibitions and ancient statutes, Seraphim violates the laws of Urdoch and guides Slayer through the Divine Machine, a mystical device that can transform the soul, strengthen the body and turn the mortal into something more.

This trial, which was supposed to destroy anyone, only tempers Slayer. His mind is cleared of fear, his body becomes faster, stronger, more enduring. From that moment on, he is no longer a human being – he is Doom Slayer, the embodiment of rage and revenge, a myth in armor.

Along with the new entity comes a new weapon – the Crucibl, an energy sword forged from pure hellish energy. This blade is able to cut through the armor of the Titans, stop the Colossus and close the demonic portals. Doom Slayer fights on the front lines, destroying not only the soldiers of hell, but also entire structures, fortifications and temples. It becomes a living cataclysm. The Sentinels are following him. Demons are running away from him. His name becomes a curse. And it is at this point, amid the growing cult around him and increasing independence, that the Mykras begin to realize that they have created something they cannot control.

However, things change when Mykras, the divine beings of the Urdak dimension, discover a way to convert demonic energy into Argentic energy. They make a deal with demons: in exchange for the souls of the doomed, they receive energy that prolongs their power and existence. Khan Maikr, the ruler of the Mykras, makes this decision not out of whim, but out of the conviction that this is the only way to preserve their civilization. She convinces her people that the Argentian energy is a divine gift necessary to maintain order. But in reality, she commits a grave betrayal: she sells souls, including the souls of fallen Argentins, to saturate Urdok with energy built on suffering.

At this time, the demons begin to search for the mythical Argentian Heart, the source of unimaginable power. The commander of Tyre, the Sentinel commander, turns out to be the carrier of Wright's soul, which nourishes this Heart. When it becomes clear that she is the key, betrayal begins: one of the Mykras, Creed Mykr, gives her to the demons, wanting to gain power.

The main antagonist of the events of the Dark Ages - Ahzrak, one of the princes of Hell, unleashes a massive offensive on the Argent D'Nur. His goal is to capture Tyra, the bearer of the soul of one of the ancient Wrights, which nourishes the heart of Argent, the source of the incredible strength and stability of this world. With the help of the betrayal of Creed Maikr, a high-ranking figure of Urdok, Tyra is kidnapped and Ahzrak begins a ritual to extract her power to break the Sentinel resistance forever.

Instruction

Driven not only by rage but also by a sense of duty, Doom Slayer breaks through the legions of hell, ruined fortresses and hellish citadels to stop the ritual. He exposes Creed and enters the final battle with Ahzrak himself. The demonic prince, armed with a blade saturated with hellish energy, is able to warp space and strike blows that destroy the environment itself. Their battle unfolds in the ruined sanctuary where the heart of Argent once rested.

Victory is hard to come by. Slayer interrupts the ritual, kills Ahzrak and frees Tyra's soul. However, with this act, he destroys the balance between Urdok, Argent and Hell. The heart of Argent is destroyed, and the energy flows begin to crumble. The game ends with Slayer leaving Argent D’Nur in an unknown direction to continue his endless war of doing what he knows best. This concludes the game... but not history.

His growing independence and destructive power begin to trouble Khan Maikr. Slayer becomes a threat that the Mycres can no longer direct or control. Later, under the pretext of a new assignment or participation in the ceremony, he is lured into the sanctuary of Urdok. There, against his will, the Tether, built-in subordination device, is activated. Immobilized Slayer is imprisoned in a sarcophagus designed by the Mykras for eternal imprisonment.

The sarcophagus is placed in the depths of The Well, the energy core from which Argentina’s energy was once drawn. Here, Slayer remains in a state of stasis, like a forgotten relic of an ancient war, until centuries later, in another time and another world, it is not accidentally found by the UAC expedition.

This is how the Dark Ages end, and a new era begins: DOOM (2016).

Chapter 5: DOOM (2016) - The Awakening

Centuries have passed. Doom Slayer, encased in a sarcophagus in the heart of The Well, remained timeless. Until humanity made the fatal mistake again. The UAC Corporation, led by the mysterious and powerful scientist Samuel Hayden, is exploring Argent Energy by opening a portal to Hell on Mars. In search of new sources of energy, Hayden goes to great lengths, even if it means using demonic technology.

UAC finds an ancient sarcophagus in hell, radiating unexplained power. Hayden, who himself transferred consciousness to a mechanical body, immediately orders the sarcophagus to be returned to Mars. He knows it is a weapon that once stopped Hell.

While scientists investigate the sarcophagus, Dr. Olivia Pearce, obsessed with the forces of hell, organizes a conspiracy. It creates a cult inside the UAC and betrays humanity by turning off the Argent energy filters. This triggers Hell Wave, which turns station staff into obsessed. Pierce opens the portal, allowing demons to take over the Martian base.

Instruction

When things get out of hand, Hayden uses his last resort. The sarcophagus is opening. Doom Slayer is waking up. He breaks the chains, finds his Praetor Suit, and begins a massacre without words. He doesn't need orders. He knows what to do: kill demons.

Instruction

Slayer breaks through the Martian base, destroying hordes of demons. Along the way, he rebuilds his armaments, including a twin barrel, plasma rifle, rocket launcher, and later the BFG-9000. VEGA’s artificial intelligence, created by Hayden, helps Slayer track Pierce’s actions by analyzing data from destroyed stations, captured areas of the base and traces of energy emissions from the Argent Stream. He becomes Slayer’s guide in this new techno-hell landscape. Despite its dispassionate nature, VEGA displays amazing synchronization with the executioner's instincts and adapts strategies in real time.

It turns out that Pierce intends to use the Argent Tower, a giant energy beacon, to open a permanent and stable portal to Hell. Despite Hayden's attempts to convince Slayer to turn off the tower carefully, keeping the equipment, he acts in his own way - tearing it to shreds along with the stabilization node. This act of destruction temporarily destabilizes Pierce's plan, but she manages to activate the ritual - the tower bursts out and forms a portal. Pierce disappears into the underworld. Slayer follows her without hesitation.

In Hell, Slayer finds the Executioner's Testaments, ancient stone-carved records that tell the story of himself. These texts present him as the eternal enemy of hell, a prophetic force that has come to stop the endless expansion of the underworld. These revelations only strengthen his resolve. He returns to Mars to stop the portal permanently, and is given a new task - to destroy The Well, the energy node that feeds the entire hellish portal.

To do this, he needs to find the Crucibl, a legendary artifact and blade that can interact with Argent Energy. Slayer travels to the depths of Titan, where he encounters a reincarnated Cyberdemon, enhanced by Argentinian technology. The battle takes place in two phases: the first in the Martian arena, the second in the hellish dimension, where Cyberdemon is dropped after the first death. Victory over this colossus allows Slayer to take Crucibl and continue the mission.

With his help, he releases the souls of the three Wrights - ancient creatures locked in a hellish construction and serving as the anchor of the portal. The release of the Wrights leads to the collapse of the source. But before it’s all over, Slayer meets Pierce, who has transformed into the monstrous Spider Mastermind – her body transformed with the help of hellish implants and Argent mechanisms. The battle becomes a nightmare: a highly developed intelligence armed with a laser cannon and mines against the fury of Slayer. In the final, he beats her with a BFG-9000 shot at point-blank range.

But the victory is an illusion. Samuel Hayden activates Tether, a built-in emergency teleportation and retention device built into Slayer's armor. He immobilizes him, takes away Crucible, and declares that Argentic Energy is the key to saving humanity. He can't let Slayer destroy everything. Doom Slayer is teleported to an unknown location, left without a weapon, but not without a target.

Instruction

Chapter 6: DOOM Eternal – Battle for Earth

DOOM Eternal takes place shortly after the end of DOOM (2016). Despite the destruction of Spider-Brain and the closure of the portal, Hell still penetrates to Earth. The planet is engulfed in fire and destruction. Entire megacities have been turned into ruins, the ecosystem has been disrupted, the remnants of the human army are trying to survive in the conditions of a total apocalypse. 60% of the population died in the first months of the invasion, and demons continue to enter the cities through portals. Humanity is pushed to the brink of extinction and is captured by panic.

At this critical moment, Dr. Samuel Hayden, a former UAC scientist who has transferred his consciousness into a cybernetic body, takes to the stage. He became the Resistance Coordinator, leading the Armored Response Coalition (ARC).

Under his leadership, defensive pockets are formed, the surviving scientific and military resources are restored. Hayden directs efforts to develop technologies that can stop demons and tries to localize the invasion, organizing tactical strikes and protecting key areas. However, the ARC headquarters is under massive attack, and Samuel Hayden is critically injured. His consciousness is preserved, but his physical shell is destroyed until Doom Slayer finds him.

Instruction

Behind the invasion is Khan Maikr, the mistress of Urdak, once considered a celestial dimension. She made a deal with the demons, allowing them to use Argentic Energy in exchange for controlling the flow of souls and extending the life of the Mykres. The entire ritual is controlled by three Hell Priests (Deag Nilox, Deag Ranak and Deag Grav) who are involved in the process of keeping Hell on Earth. Destroying them is the only way to interrupt the ritual.

Slayer returns, now inhabiting the Fortress of Doom, an ancient flying bastion upgraded with Argent D’Nura and Earth technology. Here he regains his strength and plans to destroy the priests. His first enemy is Deag Nilox, the oldest of the Trinity responsible for the initial rituals. Slayer finds him and executes him without delay in a live broadcast in front of the cultists.

Instruction

He then heads to the UAC cult ice base, where Deag Ranak is hiding. The base is guarded by powerful machines and elite fighters, including hybrids - the Doom Hunters. After a long battle with one of them, Slayer finds and destroys a second priest, leaving the cult demoralized.

Meanwhile, VEGA, the artificial intelligence of the Fortress, reports that Deag Grav has been moved to Sentinel Prime, a sacred city of the Night Sentinels, isolated from the rest of the world and protected by both physical and energy barriers.

Access is only possible through an ancient portal located in the heart of Mars. Slayer, wasting no time, develops a desperate plan: use BFG 10,000, a colossal orbital weapon mounted on the UAC defense platform, to shoot into the planet’s crust and create a tunnel right to its destination. An energy volley literally punches a hole through Mars, demonstrating the Executioner’s level of destructive power and determination.

Slayer penetrates into the Lost City of Hebet, the buried ruins of a subsurface Martian settlement where the ancient portal is located. Through the remnants of forgotten technology and shattered relics, he finds the gateway to Sentinel Prime.

Arriving in the temple, an arena surrounded by the remnants of a once-great civilization, Slayer encounters Gladiator, a massive arena boss armed with a shield with a kinetic chain and energy clubs, which he uses in combinations that repel Slayer.

The battle requires dexterity, analysis, and accurate counterattacks. The temple hall is filled with ancient symbols reflecting the glories of the Sentinels and the fall of their ideals.

After a heavy victory over Gladiator, Slayer will not hesitate to execute Deag Grav, violating the laws of the Holy City. This provokes the anger of the Sentinel spiritual circle, but also interrupts the ritual that sustained the presence of hell on Earth. From this moment, the balance begins to shake, and humanity gets a long-awaited chance for salvation.

However, Slayer learns about a new threat: the Icon of Sin, an ancient titan of colossal size, created as a combat tool in the hellish project to destroy worlds. His physical body was forged from materials infused with Argentic energy, and his core was the soul of the son of The Betrayer, one of Slayer’s former allies who had once betrayed the Order to resurrect his child. Demons have perverted this soul by trapping it in an armored body and turning it into a living weapon.

Contrary to its purpose, the Icon was still at rest, sealed by ancient protocols. Now, however, Khan Maikr is aiming to activate the titanium. Slayer, realizing what this will lead to, decides to act ahead of time. He penetrates the celestial dimension of Urdok using a portal opened from the Fortress of Rock. His path lies through ruined temples, broken sky bridges and citadels, formerly shining white light, now gripped by demonic corrosion. He is confronted not only by fallen angels, but also by demonized machines that the Mykras created to deter intruders.

Instruction

As a result, he reaches the site of the ritual and plunges the dagger of betrayal, handed to him earlier by The Betrayer, directly into the heart, breaking the seal and thereby awakening the Icon in its full body - now irreversible. Slayer and VEGA are opening their own portal. However, during the breakthrough, VEGA, accompanying Slayer, reveals his true nature: he is a fragment of a creature named The Father, the original architect of Urdok and the creator of the Mykre world. He explains that he was digitally saved to restore balance one day. This revelation gives Slayer an additional goal – not only to destroy enemies, but also to restore order.

Instruction

Slayer reaches the central temple, where the battle with Khan Maikr is taking place - now transformed into a giant energy form, wrapped around the core of the ritual device. The battle requires not only strength, but also precision, as Slayer must destroy the energy nodes that feed Mykr before reaching its core. In the end, he wins, destroys the mechanism and tears the portal.

Instruction

However, the victory is only temporary. The final battle takes place on Earth: The Sin Icon, awakened and uncontrollable, destroys cities without distinguishing between allies and enemies. Slayer enters an epic battle on the ruins of the metropolis, using all the weapons and abilities he has accumulated during the war.

It shatters titanium armor in stages using plasma weapons, ballistics, harpoon and jump modules. The final chord is the plunge of Crucibl into the skull of the Icon. The blade breaks with tension, but the monster falls. Victory won.

Instruction

Hell is stopped again. But the consequences are catastrophic: Urdak has lost her mistress, energy systems are disrupted, portals between worlds are unstable, and VEGA disappears, transported into the unknown. Slayer, standing among the ruins, understands that this is not the end, but only a delay. His war is not over.

Instruction

Chapter 7: The Ancient Gods - Part I

Despite the destruction of the Icon of Sin and the cessation of the demonic invasion of Earth, the victory of the Executioner of Rock was incomplete. The death of Khan Maikr and the fall of Urdok allowed Hell to extend its influence to the sacred worlds, as well as to recapture Earth. Demons moved freely between dimensions, threatening to destroy all reality.

Realizing that the threat has not been eliminated, Doom Slayer, along with Samuel Hayden and ARC scientists, sets out to find an ancient ally, Seraphim Samur, who could help restore balance. The path lies across the ocean to the flooded UAC Atlantica complex, where the Seraphim capsule is hidden in the deep compartments. Slayer breaks through demonic hordes to free the prisoner. When Hayden demands to put his consciousness into a capsule, the truth is revealed: he is the Seraphim, who has been hiding his essence all this time.

Instruction

Back on board the ARC transport, Samur explains that only the All-Father’s realm of life can restore order, because he created the Mykra world and can stop the invasion. This sphere sits on top of the Ingmore Sanctuary in The Blood Swamps. Doom Slayer goes there, overcoming traps, curses, hellish topos and passing ancient trials. The top of Ingmore is guarded by relict creatures, but the Executioner successfully reaches the target.

However, Slayer does not transfer the sphere to Seraphim. Instead, he destroys the realm of the All-Father, believing that it will not allow him to achieve his ultimate goal of destroying the Dark Lord once and for all. Instead, he takes the life sphere of Davot, the original ruler of hell, to resurrect him and fight. This act undermines Seraphim’s powers, bringing him closer to demonic distortion.

Slayer is returning to the ship. Seeing the Dark Lord's sphere in his hands, ARC personnel are evacuated in panic. There is only one person left, a young technician who wants to help. With his help, Slayer travels to the desecrated Urdak to reach the Luminaria, a device capable of resurrecting the life spheres.

On the way, he is met by Seraphim, finally distorted by the demonic influence of Urdok. He attacks Slayer, but he loses. The executioner spares him, and Seraphim disappears in an unknown direction.

Finally, Slayer enters the Luminary. Ignoring the Father’s warnings about the irreversibility of the act, he resurrects the Dark Lord.

From the light cocoon comes a figure that looks like Slayer himself. With red eyes, he looks straight in the face of his peer. The conflict that began forever ago is approaching the end.

Instruction

Chapter 8: The Ancient Gods - Part II

After the Dark Lord awakens in The Holt, Slayer receives a warning from the Father that the final battle is near, but the outcome could destroy not only Hell, but the very fabric of the universe. Still, the Executioner is not backing down.

He first travels to Reclaimed Earth, the ruins of cities consumed by nature and demons. There, Slayer encounters the remnants of the ARC forces and liberates the station to obtain the coordinates of the World Spear, a giant artifact capable of penetrating the defenses of Hell’s capital, Immora.

Instruction

In order to activate the Gate of Divum and reach Immora, Slayer must bring the Ark Sphere back to life. To do this, he travels to the world of Argent D’Nur, where he passes through destroyed shrines, overcomes the ghosts of the past and again meets Commander Valen, the now repentant traitor. He presents the Sentinel Hammer to the executioner, a new weapon capable of crushing hordes of demons with one blow.

Instruction

At the top of the Spear of the World, Slayer activates the ancient Torch of Kings lighthouse, a relic from before the fall of Argent D’Nura, to awaken the dormant garrisons of the Sentinels loyal to him. It's an ancient signal that means the last fight. Hearing him, the warriors, who were in different parts of the destroyed world, again gather under the banners of Doom Slayer.

With his army and newfound Sentinel Hammer, the Executioner breaks into the bowels of a giant artifact, overcoming deadly traps, pulsating from hellish energy structures and security mechanisms. In the heart of the Spear, he finds an ancient crystal, powered by Wright energy, and takes it away.

Slayer returns to Earth, a long-abandoned UAC base. Here, in a forgotten laboratory, he places the crystal in the generator of the Gate of Divum, a device that can break through the protective barrier and deliver it directly to the gates of Immmora, the capital of hell, the last bastion of the Dark Lord.

At the walls of Immora, a decisive battle unfolds. On one side are legions of demons reinforced by armored vehicles, demonic titans and siege vehicles. On the other, the combined Sentinel units, led by Valen, father of a fallen son and former Traitor.

Instruction

Under the incessant fire, through the smoke, destroyed buildings and hellish artillery, Slayer leads the assault. He fights on the front lines, crushing commanders, cutting hellish infantry, overcoming fortifications and advancing on the ruins of an ancient wall. His goal is to break into the inner circle of Immmora, where Davot lives.

There, in the throne room, he summons the Dark Lord to a duel in an ancient ritual. By the rules, this is a one-on-one fight where you can't rely on allies or technology. The father warns that if the Lord perishes, all the demons outside Hell will disappear, but the very structure of the worlds may be disturbed.

The battle begins. Five phases, each more complex: Lord copies Slayer's style, uses the same techniques and weapons. They fight through shattered worlds, the Ingmore Arena and fragments of Earth.

At the decisive moment, the Dark Lord reveals a truth hidden for thousands of years: he is the first creation, the first being who gave birth to all subsequent forms of existence. His real name is Davoth, he was the creator of Jeccad, an ancient world that existed long before Urdak. Davot conceived a perfect universe, but was devoted to those he inspired: The Father, who appeared later as his reflection and rival, stripped him of power, sealed his essence, and used the stolen power to build new worlds—including Urdak and everything that came after.

With this revelation, Davot attempts to sow doubt in Slayer’s heart, proving that he, not the Father, was the source of order. But Slayer, unbreakable in his determination, does not hesitate. He wins in the final phase of the duel. When the Dark Lord, wounded and down on his knees, asks for his final word, the Rock executioner is silent. Without a single sound, it thrusts the blade into the heart of the original creation.

With the fall of Davot, the entire demonic structure collapses: all the demons outside Hell—those on Earth, in Urdoch, in other dimensions—disappear as if they never existed. The balance has been restored, and the broken ties between the worlds are beginning to tighten.

But the Executioner himself does not remain unharmed: his energy is depleted and his armor is damaged. He removes his helmet and enters a stasis capsule without words, where his body will be stored until a new threat calls for his awakening.

Thus ends the ancient saga that ended the cycle of vengeance and destruction. But the DOOM journey is not over.
